IYF and Zoomlion Clean Up Exercise
On Tuesday the 14th of April, 2009, the International Youth Fellowship (IYF) in collaboration with Zoom Lion Ghana ltd, a waste management company embarked on another clean up exercise in a section of the Tema metropolis in Ghana.
A team of tertiary and senior high school students numbering over 300 with some personnel of the Zoom Lion Ghana ltd cleaned up areas around the overhead bridge that links Ashaman and Tema. This is part of the IYF objective of conserving the environment and also falls in line with the government of Ghana’s initiative to ride the country’s cities and towns of filth.
This exercise also forms part of the activities earmarked before the 2009, IYF World Camp.
